Division Using Number Line
Division of numbers can be done by using number line.
For example divide 10 by 5
Starting from 10 we make 2 jumps of 5 steps in backward direction and reach 0 as shown below
Hence 10 divide by 5 gives 2
Similarly
Divide 16 by 4
Starting from 16 we make 4 jumps of 4 steps in backward direction and reach 0 as shown below
Hence 16 divide by 4 gives 4
